"This compilation album represents my personal favorite, most intrakozmic, and most essential music which I have produced over the past decade of my life on Earth... 29 tracks re-released in one package, at the sunset of my 29th year, as I approach my 30th year of life.
When I began to self-release music under my own name in 2006 at age 19, I came to the creative act of music making with a sense of sincerity and earnestness. Although my music is often labeled "Psychedelic" or "Experimental," I feel my driving goal, aesthetically and on a cognitive level, is to forge a new, visionary sense of sound-imagery in the mind of listener. These are supposed to be the sounds- and the performativity which emerges from them- of The Psyche, genres and classifications be damned.
With over 30 releases in 10 years (as "Colin Sanderson" and with my bands Manburger Surgical and Pulcinella) along with numerous appearances in other groups' recordings (Lobby Art, Marc Edwards & Slipstream Time Travel, Hybegnu, The SK Orchestra, etc.), I have had a varied and enriching life in music thus far.
This release, available for free download, is my attempt to make my (best) sounds more accessible in one place.
When inner space envelops the kozmos...
